Real Classes. Real Interaction.
Unlike self-paced online tutorials, Photo 101 takes place live over Zoom. Your instructor explains photography concepts in plain language, helping you understand not just which camera settings to use, but why they matter.
Learn With Your Own Camera, Right Where You Are.
Over four weeks, you'll explore camera settings, exposure, focus, composition, depth of field, and creative photographic techniques. Each 2½-hour session includes demonstrations, practical activities with your own camera, and time for questions. You'll learn alongside other students in a friendly, relaxed environment.
Practice Between Classes and Build Your Confidence.
Light weekly photography assignments help reinforce what you've learned and encourage you to put new skills into practice. You'll also have access to our shared Flickr group, where assignment results can be reviewed and students can learn from one another's work.
